“Lake Geneva is one of my favorite spots in the entire country. It is an extraordinary experience to walk around the lake in spring, summer, fall, and even winter time. But what makes this place a top destination is Magnolia Farmhouse. I love the location, just a few feet to the lake path to begin my day. I also enjoy that everything is in walking distance. The Abbey for breakfast, the wonderful ice cream shop and Four Brothers Chocolates and Fontana Home. Magnolia Farmhouse is for someone who has great taste!

All of the wonderful linens, the well-organized kitchen and high-end appliances are first-class. We so enjoyed the fabulous coffee bar. We also enjoyed all of the special details – everywhere you look there is something magical. The thoughtful and yummy welcome gifts were the beginning of a wonderful stay. It was great to sit by the fire pit with a cup of hot chocolate or in the reading room with some hot tea and a good book. The farmhouse is a gathering place where you can enjoy, relax and sit out on the front porch like in days gone by. This place has made for some extraordinary vacations for our family and I’m looking forward to having more in the future. A coffee bar with either a whole bean or ground option; a tea bar with 10+ flavors, including decaffeinated; a cozy blanket at every turn; linens for days; perfumes, soaps and travel-sized toiletries, etc. Everywhere you turn there is a "moment" created with thoughtful sayings, local history books, beautiful flowers - you name it. “We had a family gathering with our four adult kids and all came away thinking Frances' house is the perfect gathering spot. Every room offers great spaces for group conversations and there are two beautiful porches as well as a large fire pit. Everything you need is provided in the house and we were a short walk to the Abbey, Chucks and GORDY's for good food and drinks. Boat rentals, a public beach and the lake walking path are also easy walking distance. Fontana is a very low key location. Frances has done a terrific job updating and decorating the house. We highly recommend it!”

“We had the most wonderful experience at Frances’ lovely lake home for the weekend. The host, home, neighborhood and amenities exceeded expectations.

The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks EVEN BETTER than it does in the pictures. It was so cozy, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet and very conveniently located near the lake and lake trail. The host gifted us with freshly ground organic coffee and delicious wine from a well known vineyard in Napa. I'm so grateful we located this home and would absolutely recommend to stay there!”

“The Magnolia house is like a luxurious bed and breakfast and spa all rolled into one. The linens, furniture and fixtures are high quality and stylish. The kitchen is stocked with all of the dishes, platters, glasses and Tupperware a group of 10 would need. The host is welcoming, responsive and incredibly thoughtful. It was a refreshing treat to stay at the Magnolia house! I highly recommend it for any group or family and I hope to stay there again.”
